Living in city full of politics and culture, I often feel that I don't take advantage of all that DC has to offer. As a Georgetown student, it gets increasingly difficult to keep with the demands of school and extracurriculars while leaving the hilltop. Photo Inspiration: Tea Parties

"Everything's a copy of a copy of a copy."
Like every young girl throughout history, I used to love to play with dolls, dress up, and have a little tea party. It was basically the kid's version of brunch and who doesn't like that? So this month, when we were brainstorming ideas, I immediately thought of the modern rendition of tea parties.
One thing I have always enjoyed about fashion is that it allowed designers to have artistic license to do whatever the f*ck they want. Much like fast fashion stores, you were allowed to basically take the ideas of another designer and revamp it into your own thing.
Lots of times, they come out beautifully... like now...
I love how the fashion industry has taken something cute & childish and turned it into something hip & edgy. They have brought out the more eccentric features of a classic and somehow, it turned better.
So here is a timeline (in photos) of the fashion industry's take on tea parties.

Nuit Blanche was last night :)
I loved it. Some friends actually came down from other places just to come see art!
JK me and my friends get wasted and wonder around downtown toronto.
BUT i just thought that this is such a great event, everyone should know about it!
there were some amazing features such as Ai Wei Wei and off to a flying start.
some are really mind boggling.
If you didn't get to see any art or you didn't know about it...
