Obsessions: Instanatural Moisturizer, Eye Gel, & Eye Serum

Hey y'all,
Sorry for the long absence but orgo has officially been whopping my butt so I've been constantly studying (and binge-watching gilmore girls). But today, I have a real treat for everyone.. the Instanatural set of Eye Serum, Eye Gel, and Retinol Moistuizer

To start it off, I decided to take a before photo. As you can see, I've been breaking out a little due to the stress and I wanted to see if this moisturizer would be too greasy and make it worst. So here's my before photo:
I started off with my handy St. Ives to wash and scrub my face before applying the moisturizer.

Then I used the Retinol Moisturizer that is supposed to repair and restore skin.
Here is me rubbing my cheeks like a chipmunk. My first impression of the moisturizer was that it was pretty dang effective. The cold Michigan weather has been drying out my skin, especially my face (literally the only part of my body I can't cover up). After a few days, I found that my skin is much softer and the vitamin C, retinol, jojoba oil, shea butter, green tea, and hyaluronic acid concoction has done its job. Definitely effective.

Then I used the eye gel...
Don't be fooled, kids! It might be called an eye gel, but it is actually so much more useful. The directions (yes, I read them) actually says that the eye gel can be placed around eyes, forehead, and cheek area. This is definitely beneficial to college students like me who study till the AM.

Lastly, I used the eye serum. Personally, I felt that my eyes were a little too overdone with both the eye serum and the eye gel but they definitely seem like different products. The eye gel came out as this clear liquid and contains hyaluronic acid, peptide complex, plant stem cells, matrixxyl 3000, and amino acid complex. The eye serum, on the other hand, came out orange and should only be placed around the eyes. It contains Vitamin C, plant stem cells, kojic acid, passionflower, caffeine, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide. Overall, the product seemed pretty on point.

Unfortunately, there was a few things that the products didn't do for me. While I absolutely adore the moisturizer, I feel that the eye gel and the eye serum is too similar and I wouldn't recommend buying both but choose either/or. Secondly, I preferred the eye gel because the orange-y liquid actually made my eye bags more prominent by slightly making them darker. But overall, the products have been great.

Here's my after photo:
